Jamie was a Marine during the first Gulf War. While there, he met a named woman Grace Secor in Kuwait, a fellow Marine, and they quickly fell in love. When the war was over, the plane she was coming home on crashed into the Black Sea due to mechanical difficulties. This shook the otherwise fearless man quite hard. After the war, he attended the University of Washington, earning a computer science degree. He quickly became a sought after computer security expert and is able to charge whatever he wants for his services.
